Age appropriate toy for little Minnie Mouse fan,
Let me start by saying that my daughter loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Naturally, Minnie Mouse was an instant hit! I saw this set online and ordered it for her 2nd Birthday.
I loved it because it is labeled for “2 year olds and up”. I feel like 2 is a difficult age because she is no longer interested in the infant toys, but most of the toys in the store are for 3 year olds and up because of small pieces. The doll is a bit bigger than the average action figure, so the pieces are bigger. This is a relief to me because I dont have to worry about her choking on little pieces. Also, it is easier to keep things together and we are less likely to lose these bigger pieces.
The dresses, as well as the other accessories sort of snap on or slip on. This can be a little difficult for her little fingers. She often brings the pieces to me and asks for help. She loves to change Minnie’s outfit and have Minnie stare into the mirror. This has been a great set to take on outings or trips to grandma’s house. I think it has also helped her imagination because I hear her playing “pretend” with Minnie.
I think this is a great transitional toddler toy from the infant stage to the little girl stage. I wish there were mores sets like this! You can also check out the swimsuit minnie mouse set, I liked this one better. I would love to see more characters made by fisher price for this age!

Love it!,
My daughter loves this! I like that it is slightly larger than the majority of Minnie Mouse figures out there; this is 5 1/2 inches tall, most others are only 3 inches tall.

Tangled!,
Well, you buy a doll from a movie this name and you get what you pay for. Our 4 year old daughter received this as a birthday gift yesterday. Already, the doll’s hair is one big tangled mess and almost impossible to brush. Our daughter wasn’t rough with her, just normal playing, but I guess when she has this much hair it is to be expected. The extension is a joke though and not nearly as thick or lush as it looks in the photo. I don’t really get the concept because, when you snap it on, it’s just one skinny piece trailing behind Rapunzel and looks like a tail. So, we’ve pretty much put that part to the side. Maybe she just need a deep conditioning treatment or something. Oh well, our daughter loves it and is taking it for Show and Tell tomorrow, which is a big deal in preschool. And, we’re very much looking forward to seeing the movie.

Not Worth It,
Although she is easier to find than the Disney Store doll, this Rapunzel is more like a Barbie than the character. While her hair is long, it falls out pretty easily, and you should be prepared to have a handful of it after the first brushing. Her dress, even after some play time, still has indents from the packaging. It also isn’t as nice as the Disney Store one. Overall, it is a cute doll, and if it’s the only one you can get and you need a Tangled Rapunzel Movie doll, go ahead. But she is a lot cheaper at the local Walmart.
